FOUNDER & AUTHOR
Samuel H
Founder of Newcomly, writing practical guides from the perspective of someone who moved from Korea to the United States and had to learn unfamiliar systems firsthand.

Why I built Newcomly
Starting life in a new country can turn ordinary tasks into complicated ones. Banking, credit, identification, driving, insurance, housing, and paperwork all have systems that are easier once someone explains what matters first.
Newcomly was built to make those first steps clearer. The aim is not to replace official agencies or professional advice. It is to help newcomers ask better questions, prepare the right documents, understand the sequence, and know where to verify current requirements.
What I bring to the site
The perspective behind Newcomly is practical rather than professional-advisory: lived experience as a newcomer, careful research, and a focus on explaining unfamiliar U.S. systems in plain language.
Scope and limits
Samuel is not presented on Newcomly as an attorney, immigration lawyer, CPA, financial adviser, insurance agent, or healthcare professional. Newcomly content is general educational information and should be verified against current official sources for important decisions.
